Reaction on recent news about VAT exemption for student housing

Xior Student Housing has taken note of a recent press report regarding a possible VAT change in the letting of student accommodation and wishes to respond to this.

The letting of student housing is exempt from VAT and Xior has never taken a possible change in this into account. Xior wishes to emphasize that the government's decision to maintain the VAT exemption for student rooms has no financial impact on Xior, nor on its students.
